Its Been A While....

Well, its been a while and guess why.... I AM PREGNANT! I am so excited to be expecting my 2nd child w/ my loving husband! Hopefully, its a lil' girl that will one day take on the task of Bridal Oasis.....

As it relates to weddings, we had the Indian wedding on the 11th of July! What a way to party.... Shout out to Zen and her new hubby on a Indian Wonderland! Burgundy and Gold will never be the same again in Bridal Oasis' wedding history!

New weddings approaching and new possibilities. The outlook is endless and we are excited for the ride!

Romeo/ Juliet Themed Wedding

I just got off the phone with a new bride. She is having a Romeo/ Juliet themed wedding. How romantic right.... :-)
Well, she is wearing an exclusive silhouette w/ a cathedral veil. All guests are wearing medieval themed attire and the decor will be shipped in from Italy. The colors of the weddings are red, black, and ivory.
I can't believe how her creativity is really shining for this Nov. 2010 wedding. Bridal Oasis is super excited about how weddings are evolving and becoming more and more creative.

Groom's Role?

I love to hear from my brides as far as their future husbands and their planning goes... How well do they participate in the wedding process? Many times the groom is the "bride" in the wedding process. Any role your future hubby chooses to participate, let us know. Bridal Oasis is moving to the next level in terms of weddings and parties. Next month, we will host our first marriage ceremony for a couple from Pakistan. We are excited to learn various ways that different cultures are celebrating their love!

We are so happy to plan so many weddings this year. When my husband gave me the idea to open my business, I was really hesistant about getting so upclose and personal with something as intimate as a wedding... then, I realized that if I paid so much attention to my own, people that I did not know... on theknot.com and other sites, then SURELY I could plan wedding for a living. I am so thankful to not have a "job," but a CAREER! I love what I do and especially how I do it. Thanks to all of our brides!

Happy Belated Mother's Day

....what a weekend. It was a joy to see my family, spend time with my son, and enjoy the weekend and reflect on what makes me feel so ALIVE. It was my first Mother's Day and very special. I was able to go home to be w/ my mom, handle some weddings that are upcoming, and enjoy some good food. It gets NO BETTER THAN THAT! I hope that each mother was able to celebrate and enjoy their speical day as much as I did. Happy Planning!

Tomorrow is my B-DAY!

Tomorrow is my b-day! I can't believe that its just here with a BLINK OF AN EYE! The last I checked... it was January and I gave birth to the BEST BABY EVER.... my son! Now, its May and "Bridal Christmas" is underway! For the most part, I don't know what's going to happen this weekend... as it is also my first Mother's Day, but I know that my family will make it special. I have the world's best husband and I am sure that he has this planned out.... :-)

It so wonderful to get "personal" every now and again on this blog. I love weddings, I love planning parties, but above all... I love my FAMILY!
